On Thursday, September 7, Suzanne Westenhoefer kicks off a great month at Martinis Above Fourth in San Diego.

Westenhoefer in a word: Candid. She's refreshingly candid, disturbingly candid and oh-my-god-she-just-said-that candid. You never know what's going to come out of her mouth, but it's sure to make you laugh.

She'll bring her new show "Irresistible Humor," to Martinis for your enjoyment.

As part of their lineup, on Thursday, September 14, catch Shoshana Bean in "Shoshana Bean Live!" Known for her powerhouse vocals, impressive range and emotional performances, actress & recording artist Shoshana Bean makes her MA4 debut with an eclectic mix of pop and even musical theater covers, originals from past albums, debuting some brand new never before heard tunes... as well as teasing from her brand new forthcoming album "Long Time Coming" due out in the fall.

If you're looking for laughs, head to Martinis on Tuesday, September 19 for Bruce Vilanch in "Uncensored." Bruce Vilanch has put something into a lot of famous mouths -- Jokes! Stories! Filthy songs!

You've probably seen him in a square, on Broadway, or on stage -- tonight he tells you all about everybody and everything, from Whoopi the star to Jabba the Hutt. And he'll dance. Really.

On Thursday, September 21, Eric Michael Krop performs in "I <3 U." Powerhouse singer Eric Michael Krop returns to MA4 with musical director Nate Buccieri on piano.

Following a successful run of shows in Puerto Vallarta, Eric Michael Krop is back at it in San Diego with musical genius Nate Buccieri on piano.

Eric and Nate bring you original music, powerful and emotional covers of your favorite songs over the decades, and will most definitely make you laugh, cry, and throw your shoe (in support). You've never heard Adele, Sia, Michael Jackson (and many more) sound like this.

Eric, with his four-octave range, delivers songs right up there with the best of them, and he and Nate always make each song feel fresh and new as they musically dance the night away.

Or, on Tuesday, September 26, join Alexis Michelle in "It Takes A Woman." Michelle is all powdered, pink, and ready for her MA4 debut! Join us for a humorous and poignant memoir detailing how Alex Michaels, a boy from SoHo emerged as Alexis Michelle, New York's premiere theatrical drag queen!

They finish up a solid month on Thursday, September 28 with Jake Simpson in "The Standard."

Simpson twice (2003 and 2004) won the top honors in the Adult Singer category on CBS's "Star Search" with his powerful high tenor voice and three-octave range. Growing up in Crocker, Missouri, making music has been one of the most important driving forces in Jake's life. His sound has been influenced by Stevie Wonder, Steve Perry, Donny Hathaway and the classic style of Sam Cooke.

Jake has recorded, written and performed with a multitude of artists including Grammy Award-winning songwriter Desmond Child, "American Idol" finalists David Archuleta, Syesha Mercado and Grammy Award-nominee Adam Lambert, NBC's "The Voice" finalist Frenchie Davis, Vintage Trouble's Ty Taylor, pianist Jim Brickman (national tour), Shoshana Bean, Matt Cusson, Grammy Award-nominee Taylor Dayne, Grammy Award-winner Paula Cole and most famously on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" with the legendary Stevie Wonder.

And get your tickets early when Ann Hampton Callaway takes the stage on October 3-4 with "Feminine Persuason: Ann Hampton Callaway Celebrates Women Songwriters."

Callaway has crafted an exciting night of music centered on the songs of women songwriters who have inspired her. Billie Holiday's "God Bless the Child," Carole King's "Will You Love Me Tomorrow?," and Dorothy Field's "The Way You Look Tonight" are among the gems carefully chosen by he Platinum-selling composer and lyricist.

Classics by Peggy Lee, Joni Mitchell, and Cynthia Weil, as well as songs by friends Michelle Brourman and Amanda McBroom, reflect the unique female perspective on love, life, and the pursuit of happiness. And expect to enjoy moments of Ann at the piano singing the best of her original songs. Don't miss BroadwayWorld.com's "Performer of the Year" in this stirring night of song and story!
