'Oy Vey in a Manger' with the Kinsey Sicks

It's that time of year when every elevator you step into, every mall you walk-through, and every radio station you tune into is playing (dreadfully) cheery Christmas music. Ok, I admit that hearing songs like "Jingle Bells," "Frosty the Snowman," and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" may not always have that Merry Christmas affect on me, but then suddenly, I remember the reason why these songs should be my catalyst to holiday glee. This music means the Kinsey Sicks Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet is coming to town (screw Santa!) with their "Oy Vey in a Manger" show!

The Kinsey Sicks, America's favorite (or perhaps only) a capella drag group, is dashing through the highways and byways to bring their raunchy, lewd, crude, but always humorous songs to your city. In "Oy Vey in a Manger," nothing about the holidays is sacred for Winnie (Irwin Keller), Rachel (Ben Schatz), Trixie (Jeffrey Manabat), and Trampolina (Spencer Brown).

Take their twisted takes on some holiday classics: "Tis the Season to Drink Stoli," "Harried Little Christmas," "God Bless Ye Femme Lesbians," and yes, "Ankles We Have Hurt on High Heels." If you have been lucky enough to experience one "Oy Vey on a Manger" Christmas before, you know that this is not a one time, two time or even three time adventure, but rather a wonderful melodious walk through a sick holiday story that one must experience over and over and over again.
