After Dark @ Exploratorium
Enjoy cocktails and science demos at the hands-on museum (Tactile dome evening hours Fri & Sat, weekly 6:15 and 7:30pm.) July 4: Things That go Boom!, about explosive science (outdoor area not ideal fireworks viewing). July 11: Made for Space, with lunar exhibits. $20. Pier 15 (Embarcadero at Green St).

Junk @ Powerhouse
