Ben Platt and Noah Galvin are getting married.

Taking to Instagram Friday, the duo, who both played the lead titular role in Broadway's "Dear Evan Hansen," announced that they are engaged.

"He agreed to hang out forever," Platt, 29, captioned a post featuring a number of photos featuring himself and Galvin, 28, embracing and celebrating the engagement.

Galvin posted similar photos and wrote: "I said yeehaw and then cried for like 7 hours."

The couple confirmed that they were dating back in May 2020. Galvin shared the news during an interview of the "Little Known Facts with Ilana Levine" podcast at the time.

"Ben and I are dating," the "Booksmart" star said. "I asked him this morning, I was like, are we allowed to talk about this? And he's like, 'Don't go into our nitty-gritty, but yeah, people can know.' It's still relatively new."

About a year later, Platt opened up about their relationship on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

"We were friends for five years and right before the pandemic, we finally decided to really give it a shot," Platt explained. "We kind of skated around it for a long time."

The couple lived with Platt's parents during the pandemic, he disclosed, saying, "It ended up being a beautiful time."

Platt later admitted he was "pretty dumb" when it came to catching on to the romantic possibilities of their friendship: "I didn't see the light for a long time and then I realize, you know, that he was the guy."
