The pioneering electronic duo Daft Punk announced Monday that they are calling it quits after a 28 year career. The announcement came via an 8-minute video called "Epilogue."

The Grammy Award-winning French act, made up of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, formed in 1993 and released their first album "Homework" in 1997, following that up with "Discovery" in 2001. After releasing more music in the 2000s, Daft Punk had another breakthrough in 2013 with "Random Access Memories," which includes the single "Get Lucky" featuring Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams. That song peaked at no. 2 on Billboard's Hot 100. That album went on to earn three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

Below, find EDGE's ranking of Daft Punk's best five songs, celebrating the dance duo's decades-long career in dance music.

1. "Digital Love"
