Lil Nas X fans won't have to wait much longer for his highly anticipated debut album "Montero."

The out rapper revealed details about his new music, announcing that the album will be released on Sept. 17. Lil Nas X also shared the album artwork as well as a trailer for the LP which features a snippet of a brand new song.

Though not confirmed, "Montero" will likely feature Lil Nas X's latest hit singles, "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" and "Industry Baby."

Taking to Twitter, Lil Nas X said that "creating this album has been therapy for me."

"I've learned to let go of trying to control people's perceptions of who I am, who I can do, and what I will be," he added. "I've realized the only opinion of me that really matters is my own."

Indeed, the 22-year-old musician has held his own against trolls and homophobic haters online who took issue with his provocative music videos and recent BET Awards performance where he kissed another man.
