World-record longest kiss achieved by two gay men

Matty Daley and Bobby Canciello on the campus of The College of New Jersey together achieved the world-record for longest kiss. The two men -- who are just friends -- locked lips for 33 hours, finishing around 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19, and gained a place in The Guinness Book of World Records.

The 33-hour kiss was streamed live over the Internet. The rules for breaking the longest kiss record specify that the couple must be standing in a public venue -- and no adult diapers are allowed. The men devised a system of hand signals and stretches to help stay awake for a day and a half, and reportedly rid their bodies of as much waste as possible with a special nutrition regimen prior to the record-breaking smooch. According to Daley and Canciello, their goal was to "queer the Guinness World Records."
