LAKE WOERTHERSEE, AUSTRIA - Come and end your summer with a huge splash at the fifth annual Pink Lake international LGBT Festival on Austria's gorgeous Lake Woerthersee from August 23-26, 2012.

The crystal clear, 17 kilometer-long Lake Woerthersee is located in the center of Carinthia, the southernmost state of Austria, which is directly adjacent to the borders of Italy and Slovenia.

With its picturesque setting, offering historic grand villas, the Casino Velden and the stunning castle, Velden is the ideal location for the fifth annual PINK LAKE Festival. Almdudler Trachtenparty: The first night of the festival is the 'Almdudler Trachtenparty' at the beautiful Villa Bulfon located directly at the lake, where both entertainers and guests alike dress in traditional Austrian clothing, from 'Lederhosen"......to "Dirndls."

TROJKA Pink Boat Cruise Party: This event is one the highlights of the Pink Lake Festival. Beginning at sunset, guests have a fantastic time crusing around the stunning lake, sippling cocktails, meeting new friends and dancing under the stars -- all acommpanied by their own private DJ on their respective boat. "Up! to Planet Ibiza" Casino Club Night: Star DJ Eduardo de la Torre from Berlin and DJ Tim Anderson from Vienna are going to rock the �Up! to Planet Ibiza Clubnight" where 1000 party guests from Austria, Germany and from all accross Europe dance until dawn.

Pago Beach Club in the Pink Lake Flagship Hotel, Villa Bulfon: Many daily activities offer non-stop entertainment, and will take place during the festival on and around the beautiful lake, including swimming, hiking, biking, dating games....to simply basking in the summer sun, chilling and cruising at the Pago Beach Club at the pink Villa Bulfon.

How to Get There:

By Airplane: Klagenfurt Airport offers direct flights to and from London, Cologne/Bonn, and Vienna. The trip from the airport to Velden is only a few minutes via taxi or rental car.

By Train: Velden�s train station may be reached via both long- and short-distance trains.

By Car: From Vienna, Munich, Venice or Zagreb in approximately 3 hours.
