Comedian Judy Gold is set to play shows in New York and Florida this month, sharing an intimate evening of laughter in the cabaret settings of Feinstein's/54 Below, and the Studio Theatre of the King Center in Florida.

"I am so excited! I absolutely LOVE performing in that classy supper club," Gold told EDGE. "I have the utmost respect for that room and for all of the iconic performers who have graced its stage. All I can say is that my show will be in the spirit of cabaret."

Twice nominated for The American Comedy Award for Funniest Female Comedian, Gold is an actress, television writer and producer. She won two Daytime Emmy Awards for her work as writer and producer of "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and is frequent guest and co-host on "The View." Her other TV appearances include "2 Broke Girls," "Melissa & Joey," Comedy Central's "Broad City," "Celebrity Wife Swap" and "Chopped All Stars."

"Actually, I've been flying to Chicago to be on 'The Steve Harvey Show' recently and it's been a blast. Let's just say, I'm always candid. I have no edit button and I have no fear," said Gold.

Gold said she loves appearing on "Louie," saying, "he is such an amazing writer and director, and I really embraced the character. I love doing TV, and my dream would be to have a recurring role on a show that is socially relevant and well written."

This season Gold said she would be on "Broad City," "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," "Difficult People" and the new series on TBS called "Search Party."

"I'm thrilled to be asked to be on these shows and work with such talented and ground-breaking talent," said Gold, who said she would be willing to guest star on many shows, adding, "The real question would be, which TV show would I NOT like to guest star in. I guess that would be 'Sister Wives.'"

Gold will share her trademark sense of humor with her Florida fans, saying, "I am me wherever I go. I'm very aware of local references that might not translate, but other than that, I'm an equal opportunity performer."

And Gold promises that she has some new material in the works for her fans, saying, "you might just be seeing some of that at 54 Below!"

Gold will appear March 9, 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. at Feinstein's/54 Below and on March 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the King Center for the Performing Arts.
