Somebody give Glenn Close her Oscar already. By now, the legendary actor deserves several trophies purely for the amount of adventurous roles she is willing to take on, and judging by the looks of the trailer for "The Deliverance," she has landed herself another memorable role.

Directed by Lee Daniels, "The Deliverance" follows a family living in rural Indiana who find themselves haunted by supernatural and demonic occurrences. Soon they discover that their house might be the portal to hell, and in order to get out alive they and their community must face their demons.

The film will be released exclusively on Netflix, and Close isn't the only name attached to the project that has audiences buzzing.

Also starring is Andra Day, Caleb McLaughlin, Mo'Nique and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor. In fact, "The Deliverance" is the second collaboration between director Lee Daniels and Day, and marks another iconic collaboration between the director and Mo'Nique after "Precious" and a public feud.

For Close, next she will will appear alongside Daniel Craig in Rian Johnson's third "Knives Out" installment "Wake Up Dead Man," and projects "Brothers," "Back in Action," "Encore," "The Summer Book" and a musical film of the 1950 classic "Sunset Boulevard."
